As Clinical Director in Mahwah, Dr. DePinto coordinates therapeutic services and care planning with teachers and families; supervises and coaches clinicians; enhances risk-assessment and crisis-response protocols; and aligns therapeutic interventions with students’ Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals to support attendance, classroom engagement, and college- and career-readiness.
Dr. DePinto most recently served Ridgewood Public Schools as the district’s first K–12 Coordinator of School-Based Mental Health Services and previously as a Crisis Intervention Counselor and School Social Worker, bringing nearly 25 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families in educational and clinical settings. Her credentials include a Doctor of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy & Practice, an MSW from Columbia University, and a BS in Social Work and Sociology from Seton Hall University. She is a New Jersey Licensed Clinical Social Worker and holds an NJDOE School Social Work Certificate, with advanced training in trauma-informed care, psychological first aid, and threat assessment. She contributed to the New Jersey Comprehensive School-Based Mental Health Guide as a chapter reviewer and author on risk assessment and response.
