Programs
At Sage Alliance Schools, we understand that each student has unique needs and goals. That's why we offer two programs, Sage Day and New Alliance, to meet students where they are at and help them achieve success. Whether students need a short-term placement with the goal of returning to their district or a longer-term placement until graduation, we work closely with the student, their family, and their district to create a personalized plan that meets their academic, emotional, and social needs. Our experienced staff provides individualized instruction, counseling, and support to help the student succeed. Both programs offer a challenging academic curriculum, as well as a variety of extracurricular activities to enhance the student's overall experience. Our staff works collaboratively with the student, their family, and their district to set goals and create a plan for success. We provide ongoing support, counseling, and guidance to ensure the student reaches their full potential. At Sage Alliance Schools, we are committed to providing quality education and support to all our students. We believe that every student has the potential for success, and we are here to help them achieve it.
Sage Day Program
The Sage Day program provides a therapeutic and challenging educational curriculum that integrates social, emotional, and academic growth. Offering small class sizes, the Sage Day program is a safe space for students who benefit from additional support in their school setting to address mental health challenges. Students in this program attend twice-weekly individual, group, and family therapy as part of their school experience, to gain a deeper understanding of themselves while also receiving the tools to move forward in their education and in life. The Sage Day program is offered at the Mahwah and Rochelle Park campuses.
New Alliance Program
The New Alliance program is designed for students grades 7 – 12 who may need more support and services than what is offered through the Sage Day program. Students in this program attend twice weekly individual sessions, daily group sessions, with opportunities for family therapy offered. The New Alliance program also partners with consulting board-certified practitioners with extensive experience in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry to assist families with medication management as needed. This holistic approach goes beyond traditional school interactions and actively involves each family to create an action-based plan, and ensure a path to sustained, successful recovery. The New Alliance program is offered at the Paramus campus.
