On Friday April 21, our campus in Boonton, NJ held an on-site “Lunch and Learn” resource fair open to districts and community members alike. This was an opportunity for us to represent ourselves and provide essential resources to our community. 

Families and representatives from school districts were greeted by Sage Alliance students and staff. Guests were offered a tour of the school led by our students. In addition, guests were also provided lunch while networking with service providers. We always seize the opportunity to show our school and our incredible students to the community.  

In attendance were representatives from several providers who shared their services and resources to the districts and families. The providers were Court Appointed Special Advocates, Employment Horizons, Caring Partners of Morris and Sussex, Mental Health Association of Morris, Love More Judge Less, Center for Family Services, New Pathways, Department of Children and Family Services, and Family Partners of Morris and Sussex County. 

Events such as these are important to ensure that we are giving back to our community. “Part of the Sage Alliance mission is to provide resources, not only to our students and their families, but also to assist local school districts,” said Viki Wilson, Principal. “Ongoing collaboration and communication are key to the success of our students.  It is our hope that events, such as the resource fair, will facilitate the development of positive alliances for the well-being of our shared students.”
