Sage Alliance Mahwah invites school district leaders, educators, and student support staff to attend its upcoming Open House on February 28, 2025. This event offers an opportunity to learn more about Sage Alliance’s programs and explore how the school can support local districts in meeting the needs of students requiring a more personalized educational approach. 

The Open House will feature a presentation on Polyvagal Theory and the Window of Tolerance: Strategies for Regulation and Expansion, led by Thor Mahan, LPC, and Lauren Szpilzinger, LCSW. The Polyvagal Theory delves into how the nervous system responds to various environments. By understanding Polyvagal Theory and engaging students within their Window of Tolerance, attendees can help students strengthen their nervous system's capacity to adapt and connect in the moment. 

Throughout the presentation, hands-on classroom tools will be integrated to demonstrate practical applications of these concepts. School tours will be available after the presentation.
